Atlanta Skyline Salted Paper Print

Okay this is one that I have been wanting to share and have available to sell for all of you. Since after COVID I have been behind the lens again doin what I love most in life. Capturing some of the small moments of beauty I can with you.

This was a lucky moment for me, On my last days in ATL while cleaning my house out I foundmy old pinhole camera and dusted it off and decided to give it a shot. I went to the Jackson street bridge and made this image. Sadly it was a couple of more months till I saw what I had. I got moved in to my new place and one day I decided to develop the roll. This beauty was the only one that came out good. It touches me hard because for more years than I can count this city is where I called home. It has changed so much through the years there. From the Olympics to COVID, Atlanta Hip-Hop’s golden age, 99X and DaveFM. So many places I hung out at that are part of my classic portfolio are now gone by the time I took this image. Sadly many places that were open when I took this one are now gone. Time has been taking a toll so hard recently. Still chin up move forward and remember it can’t rain all the time.

Black and white photograph of a highway leading towards a city skyline with tall buildings and a partly cloudy sky.

I took the negative and printed it on heavy stock paper using the salted paper technique. after drying I scanned it in high resolution keeping it as clean a possible before sealing it with lavender beeswax. What I have availble for sale at the moment is a framed reproduction of the original print. There are various sizes to choose from as well as various sizes of the image in print only with no frame. As always if you buy one and bring it to an event I will sign it for you.

By mid April I will have signed pulp paper prints (Approx. 11X17) and 8X10 High gloss signed prints. Both while supplies last. Original signed prints on 8X10 beeswax sealed high fiber cloth paper will be made on demand starting in May in a limited number. Check the stiore and this post for updates.

This is one of many posts of my photo artwork to come, and yes there will, be a book to come soon as well. Click on the “Buy Now” Link Below for a framed print.
