Lemmy Kilmister to Become a Ghost…

Rock God Lemmy Kilmister vowed to come back as a ghost in the last ever interview, it has been reported… The Motörhead madman, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer just two days before his death, spoke about how he felt lucky to have lived as long as he had in a chat last year… Asked if he was going to continue performing, he told German TV: “What, after death? No! I’ll have to stop then, I think. But you never know, I could haunt somewhere.”I love the idea of Lemmy still sitting as a ghost in his regular, The Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood, playing the bar top game he was engrossed in during his final hours.

Lemmy, 70, was known for being a hellraiser and spent decades doing speed and drinking excessively before changing his lifestyle following a health scare in 2013… He previously said: “I don’t really recommend the lifestyle because most people die of it. “A lot of my friends are dead who shouldn’t be. But if it’s the luck of the draw. It’s random. You can’t plan your life, it doesn’t work.” He had suffered a number of health problems in recent years and was fitted with an implantable defibrillator to correct an irregular heartbeat.

Sharing the sad news of Lemmy’s death on social media, the band wrote: “There is no easy way to say this…our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer.

“He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made it’s way down the street, with his family. ”

“Have a drink or few. Share stories. Celebrate the LIFE this lovely, wonderful man celebrated so vibrantly himself. “HE WOULD WANT EXACTLY THAT.”
